Your journey begins at the Hill of Tara, one of Ireland’s most sacred archaeological sites. Walk among ancient earthworks, burial mounds and the famous Lia Fáil, also known as the Stone of Destiny.
From there, continue to Bective Abbey, a beautifully preserved medieval monastery founded in the 12th century. Hidden among the rolling countryside of County Meath, the abbey offers a fascinating glimpse into monastic life in medieval Ireland and is also known as a filming location for Braveheart.
The tour then visits the impressive Trim Castle, the largest Norman castle in Ireland.
